Regional minimum wage to increase by 7.2% from January 1, 2026
VGP - From January 1, 2026, the regional minimum wage shall increase by VND350,000-VND500,000 (US$13.34-19.06) per month from the current levels, depending on each region.

As a result, the monthly minimum wage for Regions 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be VND5.31 million (US$210), VND4.73 million (US$180), VND4.14 million (US$157.42) and VND3.7 million (US$141), respectively.
The hourly minimum wage in Region I increases from VND23,800 (US$0.9) per hour to VND25,500 (US$1) per hour, Region II from VND21,200 (US$0.8) per hour to VND22,700 (US$0.86) per hour; Region III from VND18,600 (US$0.7) per hour to VND20,000 (US$0.76) per hour; and Region IV from VND16,600 (US$0.63) per hour to VND17,800 (US$0.67) per hour./.
