PVFCCo will prioritize developing relations with Cambodian urea importers and distributors as well as enlarging the market for other farm produces in the neighboring country, PVFCCo’s General Director Phan Đình Đức said, adding that the firm will sign contracts with two Cambodian distributors after its office is opened.

Besides supplying high-quality fertilizers to Cambodia, PVFCCo will share farming techniques which have been applied successfully in Việt Nam.

PVFCCo’s office in Phnom Penh was opened in December 2009 as the producer’s first trading and promoting agent abroad. Since then, PVFCCo has organized a number of on-field programs in Cambodia’s Kampong Cham and Battambang Provinces in order to raise the crop yield there to some 8.6 tons per hectare from the previous 2.5 tons.
