
Vietnamese military personnel departs Viet Nam for earthquake rescue efforts in Venezuela, Ha Noi, June 28, 202
They include 82 military personnel from the Ministry of Public Security and 42 others from the Ministry of National Defense.
The rescue teams left Ha Noi early Monday for Venezuela with 10 search dogs, 25 tons of goods and equipment. They are expected to arrived at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Caracas at 12:10 p.m. on June 29 (local time).
To support the special mission, the national flag carrier Viet Nam Airlines mobilized its ground operations team and a flight crew of 23, including six pilots, 10 cabin crew members, three engineers, one operations specialist and three ground service staff.
According to AP, the death toll from Venezuela's two powerful earthquakes rose to 1,430 as of Sunday, and at least 68,900 others remain unaccounted for./.
