Counsellor at the Embassy of Viet Nam in Belgium and Viet Nam Customs representative Nguyen Thi Vinh Hoai will continue to take the lead to the PTC of WCO.

The reelection reaffirms Viet Nam's growing leadership and meaningful contributions to shaping global customs policies, especially in the context of increasing digital transformation, climate challenges, and surging international trade, particularly in e-commerce.

In her closing remarks, newly-reelected Chair of the PTC Nguyen Thi Vinh Hoai emphasized the importance of international cooperation, innovation, and technological adaptation for a sustainable and secure customs environment.

She also thanked the WCO members for support, saying Viet Nam's continued leadership of the PTC reflects global confidence in its capabilities and provides a platform for deeper engagement in shaping the future of global customs.

The PTC tentatively endorsed the draft Work Program for 2025-2028 that will shape the work of the Committee for the next three years./.
