Singapore's export value to Viet Nam reached SGD11.7 billion (US$9.06 billion) in the first five months of 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 24.7 percent, said the ministry.
In May 2025, trade between the two countries reached more than SGD$3.16 billion, up 27.76 percent year-over-year.
Of the above figure, Viet Nam's exports to Singapore continued to grow well with a turnover of SGD869.3 million, up 27.1 percent, while import turnover from Singapore grew by 28.02 percent, reaching nearly SGD2.3 billion.
In 2024, trade between VietNam and Singapore reached US$10.5 billion, with Viet Nam’s exports to Singapore accounting for nearly US$5.2 billion, while its imports from Singapore exceeding US$5.3 billion.
Singapore is now Viet Nam’s fourth-largest trading partner within ASEAN, behind Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia./.
