Viet Nam among favorite tourism destinations: UNWTO Executive Director
VGP - Viet Nam owns abundant potentials for tourism development and is a favorable tourism destination in the eyes of international visitors, said Executive Director of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Zoritsa Urosevic.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang hosted a reception for the UNWTO Executive Director on March 2 (local time) during his official visit to Spain.
He thanked the international organization for supporting Viet Nam to develop the tourism sector, especially in planning and product development.
The Deputy Prime Minister suggested the UNWTO select Viet Nam to host several tourism events, provide technical assistance in digital transformation, IT application, smart tourism ecosystem development, national tourism brands as well as manpower training.
In reply, Ms. Zoritsa Urosevic said that the UNWTO is considering some international tourism events in Viet Nam by the end of 2023.
She also promised to stand by the nation to revitalize the tourism sector, develop human resources, improve management capacity and coordinate tourism development./.
