More than 30 heads of state and high-ranking leaders of other countries attended the event.

In his inaugural address, Prabowo said he will prioritize the interests of the Indonesian people, even those not voting for him, and called on the people to stay united to make the development dream come true.

He pledged that the Indonesian Government's leadership is not for any individuals or groups, but for the people and the country's highest interests.

The strategic partnership between Viet Nam and Indonesia has been developing strongly, comprehensively, and firmly, as the signed action programs have contributed to deepening bilateral cooperation in all areas, from politics, diplomacy, and defense- security to economy, tourism, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

Viet Nam is Indonesia's fourth-largest trading partner in ASEAN. The two-way trade continued to grow positively, increasing from US$9 billion in 2019 to over US$14 billion in 2023.

On the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony, the Vietnamese Vice President met with Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr, Singaporean Prime Minister Singapore Lawrence Wong, South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck Soo, Lao Vice President Pany Yathotou, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Valentinovich Manturov, and Thai Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters./.
