Pham highly valued cooperation between Viet Nam and the WEF, highlighting a number of notable achievements, particularly the implementation of the 2023–2026 Viet Nam–WEF Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the establishment of the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) in Ho Chi Minh City, initiatives to promote innovation in food systems, and the Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP).

He called on the two sides to further strengthen cooperation with the goal of making Viet Nam a strategic partner of the WEF in the region. He expressed his hope that the WEF would continue assisting Viet Nam in renewing its growth model based on science, technology and innovation; promoting greater investment by WEF member companies in Viet Nam while expanding the participation of Vietnamese enterprises in the WEF partner network; and accompanying Viet Nam in organizing major international events, particularly the Autumn Economic Forum and activities within the framework of APEC 2027.

The Standing Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed Viet Nam's steadfast commitment to achieving double-digit economic growth and realizing its two centenary goals. He stressed that the country is transforming its growth model by making science, technology, innovation and digital transformation the primary drivers of development, while developing high-quality human resources, building a modern and synchronized infrastructure system, and improving institutions to unlock resources and foster development.

For his part, Kairouz expressed his admiration for Viet Nam's remarkable socio-economic achievements, describing the country as a model for nations in the region and around the world. He voiced confidence that, with its current development momentum, Viet Nam would soon become a US$1 trillion economy.

Commending the positive and substantive progress in Viet Nam–WEF cooperation in recent years, Kairouz affirmed that the WEF leadership highly values its partnership with Viet Nam and appreciates the country's growing role and stature in the region and internationally.

He pledged that the WEF would continue accompanying and supporting Viet Nam in implementing its strategic development goals and priorities.

Kairouz also proposed that the two sides consider signing a new memorandum or extending the existing Viet Nam–WEF MoU for the next phase, while expanding cooperation in priority areas of interest to Viet Nam and strengthening engagement with both State-owned and private Vietnamese enterprises.

He added that the WEF stands ready to coordinate with and support Viet Nam in hosting major international events, particularly those within the framework of APEC 2027, thereby helping enhance the country's role and standing in the international arena./.
