Both sides welcomed efforts to promote people-to-people exchanges, expand cooperation between their localities, and organize cultural activities and art performance to mark the 75th founding anniversary of diplomatic relations in a bid to increase mutual understanding between the two nations.
The two Prime Ministers discussed measures to strengthen tourism cooperation and agreed to foster transportation connectivity.
The two sides pledged to continue close collaboration and mutual support at multilateral forums. Prime Minister Pham suggested the Russian side to support efforts to ensure security, safety and freedom of navigation and aviation in the East Sea, to settle disputes through peaceful measures on the basis of international law and the United Nations Charter, especially the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
