The meeting was held within the framework of the 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC) of the WEF.
Prime Minister Pham reiterated that Viet Nam will continue to consistently pursue the goal of stabilizing the macro-economy and stimulating growth.
He suggested the WEF continue cooperating with and supporting Viet Nam to connect with WEF members and attract more high-quality investment, particularly in terms of energy transition, digital transformation and strategic infrastructure.
The WEF should also assist Viet Nam in improve its competitiveness and investment and business environment, thus adapting to new development trends and regulations, he recommended.
Prof. Klaus Schwab said that Viet Nam's participation and contributions to WEF meeting will bring an optimistic economic rebound story amidst challenges against the world economy.
He expressed his delight on the achievements of Viet Nam's socio-economic recovery, affirming his commitments to strongly fostering collaboration with Viet Nam.

The Vietnamese leader and WEF Chairman discussed topics of the WEF Annual Meeting, which is scheduled to take place in Davos, Switzerland, in January next year.
The application of new technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in production, service, agricultural development and skill training should be the focus of the meeting, they noted.
On the occasion, under the witness of the Vietnamese PM and Prof. Klaus Schwab, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and WEF President Borge Brende signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Viet Nam and the WEF in the 2023-2026 period.
The MoU is a crucial foundation for promoting Viet Nam-WEF cooperation in the new period, focusing on six key areas, including innovation in the food industry, developing skills for innovation and green transformation; industrial clusters towards net zero emissions; endorsing actions on plastics, including the Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP); financing for renewable energy conversion; and cooperation in digital transformation and establishment of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center.
The signing of the MoU will assist Viet Nam in getting access to resources and experience as well as joining the WEF's global programs, thus establishing a synchronous ecosystem to boost new growth engines, attract investment and improve national competitiveness./.
