At the meeting with the Australian counterpart, Pham affirmed Australia is a top partner of Viet Nam in the region, and thanked the Government of Australia for raising ODA by 18 percent in the fiscal year 2022-2023 for Viet Nam and donating COVID-19 vaccines to the Southeast Asian country.
He welcomed Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to visit Viet Nam next year on the occasion of the 50th founding anniversary of the two countries' diplomatic ties.
For his part, Anthony Albanese affirmed Australia attaches great importance to enhancing the relationship with Viet Nam, particularly in such areas like economic, education and training, climate change, energy, agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, and defense.
At his meeting with Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong, Pham suggested Singapore assist Viet Nam in building digital infrastructure and promoting digital transformation.
The two Prime Ministers agreed to direct relevant ministries and agencies to figure out a digital economy-green economy partnership framework, and coordinate in organizing activities to mark the 50th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties and 10th founding anniversary of the strategic partnership between the two countries in 2023.
The pair also agreed to coordinate more closely at regional and international forums, especially ASEAN and the United Nations, thus contributing to the consolidation of unity and central role of ASEAN as well as to peace, stability, development and prosperity in the region.
The same day, Prime Minister Pham also met with President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk-yeol, Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar, and attended a series of summits between ASEAN and the bloc's partners./.
