Prime Minister Pham affirmed Viet Nam always treasures the comprehensive strategic relations with Russia.
The bilateral ties have flourished in all fields especially following the latest phone talks between General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Nguyen Phu Trong and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Pham noted.
He stressed that Viet Nam always bears in mind the valuable support and assistance of the Russian Federation, including in petroleum oil and gas sector.
The Vietnamese Government creates favorable conditions for the two sides to make the most of potentials in petroleum and energy which is a key pillar of the two countries' relations, said Pham.
The Government leader also applauded the cooperative ties between Zarubezhneft and the Viet Nam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) through two joint ventures Vietsovpetro and Rusvietpetro.
For his part, Kudryashov said Zarubezhneft and Petrovietnam are actively working together to materialize the signed agreements in petroleum.
Zarubezhneft hopes to expand collaboration with Viet Nam to other fields, including offshore wind power development in the Southeast Asian nation, he added.
