Pham made the calls while addressing the 8th Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh on October 30.

He went on to say that Viet Nam prioritizes luring foreign investments in a wide range of fields, including digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, internet of things, renewable energy, smart urban and smart infrastructure development, and smart governance.

Viet Nam remains steadfast to attracting both domestic and foreign resources for national development and commits to ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of investors, affirmed the Prime Minister.

Pham underscored that development investment must not be politicized and he called for all investment into development, especially science, technology, innovation, improving human resource quality, digital transformation, circular economy and climate action, to fully harness the strength of each country, each nation, and each actor, so that we can all rise together to the "infinite horizons."

Prime Minister Pham took the occasion to brief about recent developments in Viet Nam. He said that from a war-torn country, Viet Nam has emerged to be among the top 34 leading economies, with a trade volume in the top 20 economies in the world, an important link in 17 free trade agreements involving more than 60 major economies across the globe.

The Southeast Asian nation has set up diplomatic relations with 194 countries, including comprehensive strategic partnership with 8 countries, strategic partnership with 10 countries and comprehensive partnership with 14 countries.

Viet Nam has also been an active and responsible member of more than 70 regional and international organizations, said Pham.

Dubbed "Davos in the Desert", the FII conference is the largest international investment and innovation forum in the Middle East as it brings together leaders, visionaries, and innovators from around the world to explore the future of global investment.

By focusing on the theme "Infinite Horizons," this year's conference will challenge participants to think beyond conventional limits and explore investment opportunities that can bridge current challenges with future possibilities./.
