The two leaders noted with pleasure that the two nations have upgraded their ties to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership during the State visit to the RoK by the Vietnamese President. The visit is taking place on the occasion of the 30th founding anniversary of their diplomatic ties.
They discussed orientations for cooperation within the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership across all sectors.
Both sides expressed their determination to deepen the Viet Nam–RoK cooperative relations, for the sake of their peoples, contributing to cooperation and development in the region and the world.
The Vietnamese leader suggested the two sides' Government leaders direct their ministries and agencies to improve effectiveness and expand cooperation.
He took the occasion to convey Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's invitation to visit Viet Nam to Prime Minister Han Duck-soo.
The RoK attaches importance to the relations with Viet Nam, emphasized the Korean Prime Minister.
The RoK's ministries and sectors will strictly implement common perceptions reached by the two countries' senior leaders as well as inked agreements, he said, expecting to strengthen coordination between the two Governments, ministries and agencies.
