PM Pham Minh Chinh meets CPPCC Chairman during China visit
VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Wang Huning in Beijing on June 27 as part of his official visit to China.

The two sides said they are pleased to witness the positive progress in the relations between the two Parties and countries over the years and discussed measures to strengthen the bilateral friendship and cooperation across fields, including cooperation between the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) and the CPPCC.
Prime Minister Pham proposed the two sides continue to maintain high-level meetings and exchanges, spur local-to-local cooperation , organize friendly meetings, people-to-people exchanges, youth festivals and people’s forums between the two countries, and resuming tourism partnership.
He also proposed the VFF and the CPPCC strengthen exchanges of experience to uphold their roles in the political life in each country and organize the second friendship exchange between the two organizations and among localities along the shared border.
In reply, the CPPCC Chairman voiced his support for the increase of people-to-people exchange activities.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is in Beijing for an official visit to China and for attendance at the 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum from June 25 to 28./.
