
State, Government and National Assembly leaders pay tributes to late President Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on his 133rd birth anniversary.
The delegation was led by State President Vo Van Thuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue and Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee President Vu Van Chien.
The Party and State leaders respectfully expressed their boundless gratitude to President Ho who had founded, led and trained the Communist Party of Viet Nam.
The delegation later laid a wreath at the nearby Monument of Fallen Soldiers in commemoration of those who had laid down their lives for the cause of national liberation and for national independence and freedom.
President Ho Chi Minh was born on May 19, 1890 and died on September 2, 1969. He was recognised as a Vietnamese hero of national liberation and a great man of culture by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO)./.
