The resolution also specifies other 14 targets for next year as follow:
(1) Raising GDP per capita of US$4,400
(2) Increasing manufacturing share to GDP to 25.4-25.8 percent
(3) Keeping average consumer price index below 4.5 percent.
(4) Raising average growth rate of social labor productivity by 5-6 percent.
(5) Manpower in agriculture sector accounts for 26.2 percent of the country's workforce.
(6) Increasing the rate of trained workers to 68 percent of the workforce with those having degrees and certificates making up 27.5 percent.
(7) Keeping unemployment rate in urban areas below 4 percent.
(8) Reducing poverty rate (according to the multidimensional poverty criteria) by 1-1.5 percent.
(9) Increasing the number of doctors per 10,000 people to 12.
(10) Increasing the number of hospital beds per 10,000 people to 32.
(11) Raising health insurance coverage to 93.2 percent of the population.
(12) Raising the rate of communes meeting new-style rural standards to 78 percent.
(13) Increasing urban solid waste treatment rate in line with standards and regulations to 95 percent.
(14) About 92 percent of active industrial parks and export processing zones install centralized wastewater treatment systems meeting environmental standards.
Viet Nam's GDP growth accelerated to 8.83 percent in the first nine months this year, the highest rate over the same period since 20211, according to the General Statistics Office.
The economy expanded 13.76 percent in the third quarter compared to 7.72 percent in the second quarter and 5.05 percent in the first quarter./.
