At this sacred moment, the delegation expressed profound respect and heartfelt remembrance of the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader and National Liberation Hero. He founded and nurtured the Communist Party of Viet Nam—the vanguard of the working class, the working people, and the Vietnamese nation.
The rich and vivid practice of Viet Nam's revolution over nearly the past 96 years has demonstrated that the Party's leadership is the foremost decisive factor behind all victories of the Vietnamese revolution.
Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, the entire army and people will continue to uphold the revolutionary spirit and the nation's patriotic traditions, unite to overcome all difficulties and challenges, strive with shared determination and solidarity to successfully fulfill all goals and tasks, and build momentum to lead the country steadily into a new era—the era of the nation's rise.

Afterwards, the delegation laid wreaths and offered incense at the Monument to the Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son Street in Ha Noi. The delegates bowed in remembrance of the nation's outstanding sons and daughters who courageously fought, sacrificed, and devoted their lives to the cause of national independence, freedom, and reunification.

The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) is scheduled to take place from January 19 to 25, 2026, in Ha Noi, with the participation of 1,586 delegates representing more than 5.6 million Party members nationwide.
The Congress will also be attended by former members of the Politburo, former members of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat, and former members of the Party Central Committee; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; and representatives of intellectuals, scholars, artists, religious dignitaries, and outstanding youth from all regions of the country.
Themed "Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Breakthrough – Development," the Congress will define the mindset, vision, and strategic decisions to ensure Viet Nam advances firmly and strongly into a new era. It aims to successfully achieve national development goals by 2030 to mark the 100th founding anniversary of the CPV (1930–2030), and to realize the development vision toward 2045 to mark the 100th founding anniversary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (1945–2045).
The Congress will discuss and adopt important documents, including the Political Report of the 13th Party Central Committee; a report summarizing key theoretical and practical issues related to the socialist-oriented renewal (Doi Moi) process over the past 40 years; a report reviewing 15 years of implementation of the Party Charter (2011–2025) and proposed directions for amendments and supplements; and a report reviewing the leadership and direction of the 13th Party Central Committee.
The delegates will also elect members to the 14th Party Central Committee./.
