The 80th National Day celebration (September 2, 2025) will honor the achievements of the Vietnamese people in their struggles for national liberation, reunification, nation-building and defense, as well as the renewal process that has brought Viet Nam into a new era of dynamic development and the "era of national rise".
The celebration is also an occasion to express gratitude for the support and assistance of international friends and progressive peoples around the world, a vital factor contributing to the success of the August Revolution in the past and to Viet Nam's achievements today, the diplomat noted.
Viet Nam wishes to join international friends in honoring the enduring values of independence and freedom. That is why Viet Nam has recently extended invitations to its international friends to join in the celebration of this meaningful occasion.
The guesture demonstrates the friendship, solidarity, and close ties between the people and armed forces of Viet Nam and those of its international friends while affirming the nation's foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, diversification, and multilateralism, being a friend and a reliable partner to all countries around the world, stated the diplomat./.
