The meetings were part of the Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister's visit to Cuba.
At the meeting with Tran, the top Cuban legislator, Esteban Lazo expressed his eager to visit Viet Nam this to attend a ceremony marking the 60th founding anniversary of the Cuban Committee for Solidarity with South Viet Nam and 50 years since Cuban leader Fidel Castro's historic visit to Viet Nam.
Tran reiterated that Viet Nam always treasures, preserves and is determined to further deepen the traditional friendship, fraternal solidarity between Viet Nam and Cuba.
Viet Nam's consistent stance is to enhance solidarity and advocate Cuba, and support the call to end embargo policies against Cuba, reassured Deputy Prime Minister Tran.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Tran and his Cuban counterpart Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz vowed to continue promoting all-level delegation exchanges and meetings as well as foster bilateral trade and investment ties.
Both sides agreed to collaborate in implementing the outcomes of the Summit of the Group of 77 (G77) and China, especially in science-technology, and innovation./.
