The visits aim to affirm Viet Nam's consistent pursuit of its foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, diversification and multilateralization of external relations, proactive and active international integration.

The visits also reflect that the Party and State of Viet Nam attach importance to the traditional friendship and partnership with Mongolia, the multi-faceted cooperation with Ireland, and the strategic partnership with France, and wish to promote and deepen cooperation frameworks with these countries in accordance with the new situation and interests of the parties involved.

The top Vietnamese leader's State visit to Mongolia is of special importance as it takes place on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the two countries' diplomatic relations, which are at the best stage of development.

To and Mongolian leaders are expected to chart major orientations and measures to further tighten political trust and bilateral cooperation in such priority areas like politics, diplomacy, economy, trade, tourism and people-to-people exchanges.

For Ireland, this will be the first State visit since the two countries established diplomatic relations, stressed the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.

Viet Nam and Ireland share many similarities in terms of history, patriotism, diverse and unique culture. There remains vast room for the two sides to enhance cooperation for mutual development.

Leaders of the two countries are expected to discuss measures to bolster broad and intensive cooperation in such fields like high-quality investment, science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, energy transition, education and training that both sides have strengths and demands.

For France, building on the achievements gained after a decade of strategic partnership, both sides will discuss measures to further elevate their strategic partnership to a new height in line with their potential and positions in the region and the world.

The two sides will also seek ways to boost trade and investment as well as cooperation in traditional domains like culture, education, science and technology, local-to-local linkages, and in new and potential fronts like aerospace, renewable energy, high-technology, and digital economy.

During his stay in France, General Secretary and President To Lam will also attend and deliver a keynote speech at the 19th Francophonie Summit to reassure Viet Nam's readiness to join the international community in dealing with common challenges, contributing to the future of peace, friendship, solidarity and sustainable development./.
