Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha made that above statement while attending the Horasis China Meeting 2024 themed "Viet Nam and China drive ahead", which opened in the southern province of Binh Duong on April 15.
Addressing the event, Tran said, Viet Nam considers integration, green conversion, digital transformation, and economic development based on knowledge resources as new driving forces to overcome challenges, and promote inclusive development.
The nation has gradually launched innovation strategies, poured more investment in transport infrastructure development, green energy, digital and social transformation, the Deputy PM noted, adding that there will be more ample room for foreign businesses, including ones from China, to select Viet Nam an emerging market in green economy.
The international event, co-organized by the provincial People's Committee and the Horasis economic forum, the Becamex IDC Corporation, and the China Federation of Industrial Economics, marked a step forward in promoting economic cooperation between Viet Nam and China, thus opening up great opportunities for breakthroughs in new investment cooperation potential.
On this occasion, Binh Duong granted investment approval decisions and investment registration certificates to 17 domestic- and foreign-invested projects./.
