The number of daily new COVID-19 cases from March 1-October 1, 2022

The ministry said there were 727 new recoveries, taking the total number of recovered cases to 10,592,592.

The ministry also announced one more fatality, bringing the nation's COVID-19 death toll to 43,149 or 0.4 percent of the national caseload.

The Southeast Asian nation has administered 260,178,998 COVID-19 vaccine doses, an increase of 19,430 doses from Friday./.
