Da Nang Int’l Fireworks Festival comes back next year

VGP - The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) will make a comeback from June 3 to July 8, 2023 after two-year suspension due to COVID-19.

DIFF is a large-scale event to have been held ten times in Da Nang, becoming a unique international festival in Viet Nam - Illustration photo

Eight teams including seven international ones will take part in five performance nights, comprising 4 qualifying and 1 finale night. Each team will have 20 to 22 minutes to show their performance illustrating the theme of DIFF 2023.

The municipal administration gives priority to units that commit to organize DIFF for 3 consecutive years. The cost of performing the tasks of the DIFF 2023 event, paid by the selected organization, is expected to be about VND150 billion.

As for the prize structure, the champion will receive US$10,000 in cash, trophy and certificate whilst US$5,000 and similar items will go to the first runner-up.

Along with the unique fireworks performances, DIFF 2023 is slated to treat viewers with arts performances imbued with the cultural identity of Viet Nam and other competing countries with the participation of A-list artists from renowned art troupes at home and abroad.

In addition, there will be auxiliary activities spreading across the city, including space on both banks of the Han River, along Bach Dang Street, My Khe Beach, Tien Son Sports Arena.

According to previous years, the ticket price will be from VND 300,000 to VND 2,500,000 depending on the seats in the stands.
