The classic version of the banh mi is pork-based, featuring cha lua (Vietnamese-style pork roll), shredded pickled carrots, pickled daikon, cilantro leaves, mayonnaise, and other ingredients.
Visitors can discover plenty of different variations with tofu and thinly sliced lemongrass chicken.

Besides banh mi, three other Asian representatives were Shawarma and Falafel pita sandwiches (Middle East) and Katsu sando (Japanese fried pork cutlet sandwich with shredded cabbage).
Banh mi represents a symbol of Vietnamese cuisine which has built up quite a reputation globally.
