During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the positive momentum in Viet Nam–China relations featuring enhanced political trust, regular high-level exchanges, and robust growth in cooperation across trade, investment, and tourism. Local-level collaboration and people-to-people exchanges have also flourished, particularly during the "Viet Nam–China Humanistic Exchange Year 2025."

Reaffirming Viet Nam's consistent policy of valuing friendly ties with China, Pham expressed hope that both countries would further strengthen solidarity, deepen mutual trust, and expand comprehensive cooperation while supporting each other's development course.

Ambassador He conveyed warm regards from senior Chinese leaders, including Xi Jinping, Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, and Wang Huning to To Lam and other Vietnamese leaders.

He congratulated Viet Nam on its socio-economic achievements over the past five years and commended the Vietnamese Government's effective leadership, as well as the Prime Minister's important contributions to bilateral ties.

Looking ahead, Pham called on both sides to ensure balanced, sustainable trade through expanding market access for Vietnamese agricultural and aquatic products; accelerate strategic infrastructure connectivity—particularly in railway links connecting the two countries with Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Europe. He also suggested both sides bolster cooperation in energy, finance, banking, culture, and tourism, alongside facilitating travel between the two nations.

Ambassador He affirmed that China places high importance on relations with Viet Nam and is ready to enhance high-level exchanges and deepen practical cooperation, contributing to advancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and building a community with a shared future of strategic significance./.
