Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh meets with Swedish Crown Princess
VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden in Stockholm on June 12 (local time), as part of the former's official visit to Sweden.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Pham invited the royal couple to visit Viet Nam this October on the occasion of the signing of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime in Ha Noi.
He emphasized that the Vietnamese Party, Government, and people deeply appreciate the sincere and longstanding support of the Swedish royal family and people—both during Viet Nam's struggle for national liberation and reunification in the 1960s, and in its current development journey.
The Prime Minister also praised Crown Princess Victoria's commitment to global issues such as climate change, poverty reduction, and child welfare.
In response, the Crown Princess expressed her appreciation for the traditional friendship between Sweden and Viet Nam, and shared fond memories of her 2019 visit to the country. The royal couple expressed their desire to return to Viet Nam soon, particularly to explore rural areas and experience the country's authentic culture.
Princess Victoria also commended Viet Nam for maintaining robust economic growth despite global challenges, and voiced her strong support for advancing bilateral cooperation in economy, trade, and investment.
Both sides agreed to strengthen cultural cooperation through music exchanges and cultural events, aiming to deepen mutual understanding and promote closer people-to-people ties./.
