Prime Minister meets with Lao and Singaporean counterparts

At his meeting with the Lao Prime Minister, Pham reiterated Viet Nam’s commitment to strongly support the neighboring country to successfully undertake the role of ASEAN Chair in 2024.
For his part, Prime Minister Sonesay affirmed that Laos is ready to back Viet Nam to win seats on the United Nations agencies and international organizations.
The pair were unanimous in deploying the reached agreements to spur economic linkages and support socio-economic development.
The two Government chief reiterated their determination to remove obstacles and promote the implementation of key projects, and direct subordinate levels to effectively implement the agreements and outcomes reached at the 45th meeting of the Viet Nam - Laos Inter-governmental Committee.

Singaporean Prime Minister to visit Viet Nam in H2
During their meeting, the Vietnamese and Singaporean Prime Ministers expressed their pleasure to witness the developments in the bilateral ties especially following the latest official visit of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to Singapore last February.
They agreed to consolidate mutual trust by maintaining regular contacts at all levels especially in 2023 when the two countries mark the 50th founding anniversary of their diplomatic ties (1973-2023) and the 10th anniversary of strategic partnership (2013-2023).
Mr. Lee agreed with the proposal of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on promoting the effective implementation of the Digital Economy - Green Economy Partnership established recently, including the establishment of an interdisciplinary work in each country to discuss this issue; implementing the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of digital economy (February 2022), promoting cooperation in new growth fields such as digital economy, green economy, green energy, contributing to the goal of net zero emissions by 2050.
The two sides agreed to early supplement, amend and upgrade the Framework Agreement connecting the two economies, and strengthen cooperation in e-commerce./.
