Prime Minister meets U.S. President Biden on sidelines of ASEAN Summits
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Saturday met U.S. President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and Related Summits in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Both Pham and Biden assured the two countries attach importance and give high priority to their comprehensive partnership, and agreed to enhance the exchange of delegations at all levels, especially high-level ones.
The two sides agreed to coordinate closely in preparing for the upcoming phone conversation between Vietnamese Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Biden.
Biden suggested the two countries continue promoting cooperation in the time ahead in order to further deepen the bilateral ties and contribute to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region.
Pham took the occasion to convey the invitations of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Nguyen Xuan Phuc to President Biden to visit Viet Nam. Biden gladly accepted the invitations and promised to arrange the visit at a convenient time for both sides./.
