Prime Minister leaves for 28th UN Climate Change Conference in Dubai
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his entourage left Ha Noi on Tuesday for the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and for official visit to Turkey.
Pham is accompanied by Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh, Minister of Labor, Inlvaids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung, Deputy Minister of National Defense Pham Hoai Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Xuan Sang, Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Office Bui Van Thach, Deputy Foreign Minister Do Hung Viet, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy among others.
The tour indicates that Viet Nam attaches great importance to green growth and climate change adaptation while reaffirming the country's role and position in multilateral cooperation frameworks.
The tour will also help consolidate political trust, improve the effectiveness of cooperation between Viet Nam and the UAE and Turkey.
