Prime Minister Le Minh Hung leaves for ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit
VGP – Prime Minister Le Minh Hung left Ha Noi on Tuesday morning for the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit in Kazan, Russia at the invitation of Presidnt Vladimir Putin.

Le is accompanied by Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of Ha Noi Municipal Party Committee Tran Duc Thang, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Dang Xuan Phong, Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung, Minister of Finance Ngo Van Tuan, Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan, Governor of the State Bank of Viet Nam Pham Duc An, Deputy Minister of National Defense Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen ngoc Lam, Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Government Office Don Tuan Phong, and Deputy Foeign Minister Dang Hoang Giang.
This is Le's first visit to Russia in his capacity as Prime Minister of Viet Nam, with an aim to affirm Viet Nam's consistent foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, self-strengthening, peace, friendship, cooperation and development, diversification and multi-lateralisation of external affairs.
The visit also aims to uphold ASEAN's role and centrality and demonstrate Viet Nam's strong commitment and contributions to peace and stability around the world./.
