Pham thanked WIPO for assisting Viet Nam in building and integrating into the global innovation and intellectual property system, thereby creating momentum for Viet Nam to develop science and technology and foster innovation.

The Prime Minister suggested the WIPO help Viet Nam improve the efficiency of investment in science and technology, promote the commercialization of research and development (R&D) outcomes, establish and develop industrial–service–urban–high-tech zones, and foster cultural and entertainment industries to leverage cultural–historical traditions.

Tang, for his part, reiterated that Viet Nam has become a close partner of the WIPO, speaking highly of the nation's approach and strong political commitment to the development of science and technology and innovation.

Compared with other emerging economies, Viet Nam stands as a model in its efforts to boost innovation, advance science and technology, and improve the capabilities of its people, noted the WIPO Director.

The WIPO is committed to working closely with Viet Nam in areas proposed by the Prime Minister and supporting the country in improving institutions, mechanisms, and policies, carrying out Resolution 57 and developing tools and indicators to assess the contribution of science, technology, and innovation, underlined Tang./.
