Pham underlined the significance of the Belarusian official's visit to Viet Nam, which would help consolidate and develop the friendship, traditional and multi-faceted relations between the two nations in a more comprehensive and practical manner.

Viet Nam treasures the traditional friendship with Belarus and wishes to promote the bilateral ties for the sake of their peoples and for peace, stability, cooperation and prosperity in the region and the world.

The Prime Minister urged both sides to effectively implement agreements reached during the recent visit of Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko to Viet Nam and make the best use of the current cooperation mechanisms.

Pham stressed the need to effectively carry out the Free Trade Agreement between Viet Nam and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), strive for raising the bilateral trade value, and make it easier for both sides' commodities to enter their markets.

He called on the two countries to explore the possibility of establishing joint ventures in both Viet Nam and Belarus in areas of common interersts, expand cooperation in potential fronts such as information technology, digital transformation, education and training, tourism, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

Pham also asked the Belarusian Security Council to continue fostering effective cooperation with Viet Nam in fields of law enforcement, human resource training, information sharing, experience exchanges, crime combat, especially cybercrime.

Viet Nam advocates Belarus to strengthen cooperation with ASEAN, he reiterated, suggesting Belarus voice its support for the principled stance of Viet Nam and ASEAN on the East Sea issue.

For his part, Volfovich Alexander Grigoryevich asserted that Belarus wishes to strengthen collaboration with Viet Nam, adding that the Belarusian Security Council will actively work with Vietnamese relevant sides to implement agreements reached by the sides' senior leaders./.
