Prime Minister Pham conveyed the greetings from General Secretary To Lam and senior Vietnamese leaders to the Kuwaiti King and senior Kuwaiti leaders.

Pham suggested Viet Nam and Kuwait step up the implementation of the agreements reached during his visit to Kuwait in November 2025, thus contributing to advancing the Viet Nam-Kuwait Strategic Partnership in an increasingly substantive and effective manner.

Pham expressed his deep concern over the developments of the current conflict in the Middle East, calling on relevant parties to exercise restraint, promote efforts to reduce tensions, seek solutions to peace in the region on the basis of respect for international law, the United Nations Charter, and ensure the legitimate rights and interests of all relevant sides, affirming Viet Nam's readiness to actively make contributions to this process.

Prime Minister Sabah spoke highly of Viet Nam's role, goodwill, and sense of responsibility for seeking peaceful solutions to the Middle East region.

In the face of complex evolution of the conflict, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called on Kuwait to ensure security and safety for the Vietnamese community there, and to create favorable conditions for Viet Nam to evacuate its nationals. Prime Miniser Sabah pledged to coordinate with Viet Nam to ensure safety for Vietnamese nationals, and to facilitate the evacuation of Vietnamese nationals.

At the request of Prime Minister Pham, Sabah said that he would coordinate with relevant partners to consider continued crude oil supply to Viet Nam, while bolstering energy cooperation between the two countries in the time ahead.

The two Prime Ministers agreed to continue directing their ministries and agencies to implement the agreements reached during Pham's visit to Kuwait in November 2025./.
