Prime Minister heads steering committee for wastefulness prevention and control
VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed a Decision on the establishment of a steering committee for wastefulness prevention and control.

The committee is headed by the Prime Minister, who will be assisted by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc as the permanent deputy head and Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang and Chief Inspector of the Government Doan Hong Phong as deputy heads.
The committee is an inter-sectoral coordination organization tasked to assist the Prime Minister in researching, directing, and addressing important inter-sectoral tasks related to prevention and control of wastefulness.
It is responsible for putting foward to the Prime Minister directions and solutions to handle inter-sectoral issues related to the implementation of the national strategy for waste prevention and control, the master plan on thrift practice and wastefulness prevention./.
