Prime Minister calls for developing 'sustainable air defense dome' project
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has requested the Air Defense-Air Force Service to focus on studying and developing "sustainable air defense dome" project.

The Government chief made the request while addressing the 62nd founding anniversary of the Air Defense-Air Force (ADAF) Service (October 22, 1963-October 22, 2025) in Ha Noi on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Pham urged the ADAF Service to enhance the leadership and combat capacity, maintain unity within the Party organization and the force, embrace scientific and technological breakthroughs, and develop defense industry capabilities, particularly in mastering and producing modern, high-tech weaponry, applying AI and digital systems in both management and operations.
Pham also asked the ADAF Service to actively engage in national aviation industry development, technology transfer, disaster relief, and international cooperation.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, on behalf of the Party and State, presented the "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" title to the ADAF force.
With its exceptional achievements, the ADAF Service has received numerous prestigious awards from the Party and State, with 147 collectives and 150 individuals receiving the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces or Labor Hero, and thousands decorated with various orders and medals. President Ho Chi Minh himself visited the force 17 times during his lifetime./.
