President of French Senate to visit Viet Nam this week
VGP – President of the French Senate Gérard Larcher will pay an official visit to Viet Nam at the invitation of Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue, according to an announcement by the legislative body's Committee for External Affairs.

Viet Nam and France established diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level on April 12, 1973.
Both countries elevated the ties to strategic partnership on the occasion of then Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung's visit to France in September 2013./.
