President Luong Cuong extends Lunar New Year greetings
VGP – President Luong Cuong has extended his best wishes to all Vietnamese people, both at home and abroad, on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year 2025 – the Year of Snake.
A new Spring has come, bringing joy, hope and good dreams. In this sacred moment of change to a new year, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Luong Cuong extended his best regards and New Year wishes to all compatriots, comrades, and soldiers nationwide, and all Vietnamese abroad.
President Luong Cuong also wishes for a new year of peace, happiness, friendship and development for all friends and people all over the world on the occasion of the Vietnamese Tet – the biggest and most important holiday in Viet Nam.
Despite difficulties, challenges and headwinds, 2024 was a successfully year for Viet Nam as the country gained proud achievements while the spirit of solidarity, compassion, compatriotism, and the will to rise of our nation were affirmed even more strongly, noted President Luong Cuong.
The entire Party, entire people and entire army strived to achieve and exceed all 15/15 socio-economic development targets, with GDP growth rate among the highest in the world; the material and spiritual life of people was increasingly improved, socio-political stability was maintained, national defense and security was strengthened, external relations were expanded, which were highly appreciated by international friends.
Each Vietnamese person, at home or abroad, from workers, farmers, businessmen, intellectuals to soldiers, has the right to be proud of his/her contributions to the overall achievements of our country, stressed the President.
In 2025, Viet Nam will continue moving foward, and no thing can stop our nation's desire to rise and our nation's bright future. The entire Party, entire people, and entire army will continue to unite as one, uphold the spirit of self-reliance, self-confidence and national pride, take advantage of every opportunity, overcome all difficulties and challenges for breakthrough development in order to build a prosperous, strong, democratic, fair and civilized Viet Nam where all people have a prosperous, free and happy life./.
