President attends roundtable connecting Vietnamese, U.S. businesses and localities
VGP - Viet Nam is doing its utmost to innovate and improve its institutions to create the most favorable investment and business environment for U.S. enterprises to invest and expand their production in the country, asserted President Vo Van Thuong.
President Vo made the above statement while addressing a roundtable connecting Vietnamese and U.S. businesses and localities in San Francisco on November 15.
Vo said Viet Nam welcomes U.S. investors to invest in areas of its interest such as high technology, chip manufacturing, semiconductor production, green economy, digital economy, and cashless payment.
The Vietnamese leader commended the elevation of the Viet Nam-U.S. relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership in September this year, which encompasses cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, investment, education, training, science-technology, and local-level collaboration.
At the event, the President and U.S. officials witnessed the exchange of cooperation agreements in fields of education–training; greenhouse gas emission reduction; construction of industrial parks, urban and eco-tourism development, and seaport infrastructure; human resource development for microchip design; artificial intelligence and renewable energy development./.
