Portugal - VN issue joint stamps
VGP - A set of joint stamps to celebrate the growing bilateral relationships between Viet Nam and Portugal were issued at a ceremony has held by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Viet Nam Post Corporation and the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee in Hoi An Ancient Town.
The collection includes two 43x32mm-size samples designed by painter To Minh Trang from the Viet Nam Post and artists from Portugal.
The set, which was designed by Vietnamese and Portuguese painters, comprises two stamps featuring a 15th century Chu Dau pottery vase and a 18th century porcelain plate of Lisbon.
The trade relations between Viet Nam and Portugal began when Portuguese navigators first came to Hoi An five centuries ago.
The stamp collection will also be released in 192 countries and territories under the Universal Portal Union.
