PM tours Hoa Lac High-tech Park

The Government chief noticed that Hoa Lac is not only a high-tech park but also a miniature of the Vietnamese economy in the future.

The Management Board reported that the site clearance work was too slow. After 20 years of establishment, the work has yet finished. So far, 243 hectares of land have yet cleared.  

Addressing the event, PM Phuc tasked the Hoa Lac High-tech Park Management Board  finalize site clearance work in 2017.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Ministry of Finance were urged to allocate adequate capital for site clearance and perfect technical infrastructure for the park.

The local authorities of Ha Noi were assigned to build new residential areas; open more bus lines to the park and work with the Management Board to convert Hoa Lac into a business start-up centre, especially in IT and biology.

The Government chief also pledged to early issue a decree which would forge an important foundation for Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park development.

Finally, the PM stressed the importance of planning and environmental management in the Park./.
