The Viet Nam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) reported that 400 top-level technicians from 17 sectors and seven localities will attend a direct dialogue with the Government’s top leader.

The VGCL has planned to present proposals to the Government for issuing  mechanisms and policies which are expected to generate momentum and build a new contingent of qualified technicians in the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0).

During the month for workers, the VGCL will focus on taking care of both material and spiritual lives for laborers; holding dialogues to listen to comments and aspirations of workers; supervising law enforcement; and effectively ensuring welfare benefits for workers.

On this occasion, the VGCL will work with the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs to launch an action month on occupational safety and health and host a dialogue with enterprises on the field in Quang Nam province on May 4./.
