PM nominates new Cabinet members

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc on April 8 presented a list of Deputy PMs, ministers, and ministerial-level officials for the new Cabinet.

Accordingly, Mr. Truong Hoa Binh, Vuong Dinh Hue, Trinh Dinh Dung were nominated as Deputy PMs.
Other personnel were introduced to vacant ministerial posts including:
1.
Mr. Ngo Xuan Lich – Minister of National Defense;
2.
Mr. To Lam – Minister of Public Security;
3.
Mr. Le Vinh Tan – Minister of Home Affairs;
4.
Mr. Le Thanh Long – Minister of Justice;
5.
Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung – Minister of Planning and Investment;
6.
Mr. Tran Tuan Anh – Minister of Industry and Trade;
7.
Mr. Pham Hong Ha – Minister of Construction;
8.
Mr. Tran Hong Ha – Minister of Natural Resources and Environment;
9.
Mr. Truong Minh Tuan – Minister of Information and Telecommunications;
10.
Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung – Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs;
11.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thien – Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism;
12.
Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh – Minister of Science and Technology;
13.
Mr. Phung Xuan Nha – Minister of Education and Training;
14.
Mr. Do Van Chien –Minister-Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs;

The National Assembly will discuss the nominated list and cast secret ballot. The outcome will be made published tomorrow.
 
Earlier, the NA approved the relief of 20 Cabinet member with the following percent of vote in favor:

Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai with 469 votes (94%);
2.
Deputy PM Vu Van Ninh with 451 votes (91%);
3.
Minister of National Defense Phung Quang Thanh with 464 votes (94%);
4.
Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh with 468 votes (94%);
5.
Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen with 459 votes (93%);
6.
Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Thai Binh with 463 votes (93%);
7.
Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan with 454 votes (92%);
8.
Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang with 455 votes (92%);
9.
Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh with 403 votes (81%);
10.
Minister of Information and Telecommunications Nguyen Bac Son with 461 votes (93%);
