PM issues directive on accelerating families' education onethics, lifestyle
VGP – The PM has issued Directive No. 11/CT-TTg on the acceleration of families' education on ethics and lifestyle.

The government leader assigns the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to develop and implement a code of conduct in families in 2017,with an emphasis on the issue of ethics and lifestyle education; accelerate measures to effectively implement the Viet Nam family development strategy until 2020, with a vision to 2030, as well as family-related programs and projects; and instruct communication work on ethics and lifestyle education in families.
The Ministry of Education and Training is requested to strengthen education on behavior change in building families and preventing and combating domestic violence at educational institutions under the national educational system.
The Ministry of Public Security and relevant ministries and agencies are tasked with enhancing inspection and strictly handling violations of laws on families as well as acts that infringe the legitimate rights and interests of the people, particularly the elderly, women and children.
The PM asks the Justice Ministry to boost the dissemination and education of laws on families, while the Voice of Viet Nam, Viet Nam Television, the Viet Nam News Agency and press agencies are told to build specialized pages on ethics and lifestyle education in families.
He urges the Defence Ministry and the Ministry of Public Security to devise plans and organize communication and education of family ethics and lifestyle for officers, soldiers, public servants and employees serving in the armed forces.
The provincial-level People’s Committees are requested to allocate resources for family ethics and lifestyle communication and education activities, and organize the implementation of the code of conduct in families following instructions by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
