PM attends 9th CLV Development Triangle Area Summit
VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc on November 23 led a Vietnamese delegation to Cambodia to attend the 9th Cambodia-Laos-Viet Nam (CLV) Development Triangle Area Summit.
At the summit, delegates from the three nations will discuss and review the cooperative performances since the 8th summit in 2014, amendments to the CLV Development Triangle Area socio-economic development plan by 2020 and a draft action plan to connect the three economies in the region.
Leaders from the three nations will also discuss a list of 15 cooperative projects at the event.
The PM’s participation in the summit has manifested the nation’s commitments and role in the CLV and determination to boosting up cooperative programs in the CLV.
Earlier, Viet Nam successfully organized the 11th Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM) of the CLV Development Triangle Area in the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong on November 1 and meetings of the four sub-committees of security and foreign affairs, economy, society and environment, and local cooperation on October 31.
