PM appoints new Deputy Minister of Justice

VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has appointed Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tu as new Deputy Minister of Justice.

Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tu

Nguyen, aged 47, was promoted to the new role from his previous position as Director-General of the Department of Economic-Civil Legislation under the Ministry of Justice.

The Ministry of Justice is the government ministry in Viet Nam responsible for state administration on development and implementation of laws and regulations, legal dissemination and education, examination of legal normative documents, control of administrative procedures; the execution of civil and administrative judgments, state compensation, judicial-administrative activities, judicial support, legal aid, legal works; the other public services of the domains under state management of the ministry.

The ministry is currently led by Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh and five Deputy Ministers: Dang Hoang Oanh, Nguyen Thanh Tinh, Mai Luong Khoi, Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, and Nguyen Thanh Tu./.
