The planning consists of three components including a planning design, a project on embellishment and value upholding, and regulations on investment and construction.
Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy tasked local departments and agencies to deploy the planning and select effective and scientific items on April 19 at the launching of the planning.
The Central Sector is the archeological site of the old capital of Vietnam, which originated in 1010. This makes it one of the oldest centers of power in the world that has been in use without interruption.
Most of the structures were destroyed in the 19th century and are now being restored. They form a unique synthesis of the influence of various Asian cultures.
The site consists of two main parts namely (i) 18 Hoang Dieu Archeological site; and (ii) Citadel, including the Flag Tower, Doan Mon Gate, Kinh Tien Palace, the Dragon Steps, Hau Lau Palace, Bac Mon Gate. /.
