The signing ceremony of the Paris Peace Accords

Around 150 photos, valuable documents and books are on display, vividly featuring the process of negotiation and signing of the Paris Agreement.

Especially, the original copy of the Paris Peace Accords, stamp and nameplates of the delegation of the Provisionary Revolutionary Government of South Viet Nam are introduced to the public for the first time.

The exhibition depicts the five-year difficult struggle on the diplomatic front for the signing of the Paris Agreement on January 27, 1973 that ended war and restored peace in Viet Nam.

The exhibition is a meaningful event to celebrate the anniversary, said Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phuong Nga.

The signing day of the agreement marked a milestone in Viet Nam’s revolution, the diplomat stressed.

Ms. Nga proposed later generations apply the lessons learnt from the negotiation process to the cause of national construction and defense today./.
