Party leader receives Cambodian King

To warmly welcomed the Cambodian King to Viet Nam and congratulated the Cambodian people on their great and significant achievements in the cause of national construction and development.

The Viet Nam-Cambodia relationship has withstood many challenges in the struggle for national liberation of both countries, as well as in the current process of national construction and development, noted the top Vietnamese Party leader.

To reassured that the Party, State, and people of Viet Nam always bear in mind the support and assistance provided by the Senate, National Assembly, Government, military, and people of Cambodia for the Vietnamese people during their struggle for national liberation in the past, as well as in the current course of national construction.

In reply, King Norodom Sihamoni congratulated the Vietnamese people on the great and historically significant achievements.

The King recalled To's visit to Cambodia last July in his capacity as President of Viet Nam, saying the visit was of historic significance and contributed to strengthening the good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive and long-term cooperation between Cambodia and Viet Nam.

King Norodom Sihamoni reaffirmed his strong aspiration and determination to continue nurturing and preserving the relationship between the two countries.

Since his ascension to the throne on October 29, 2004, King Norodom Sihamoni made four trips to Viet Nam in 2006, 2012, 2018, and 2024./.
