The Vietnamese Party leader reiterated that Viet Nam always treasures and expects to ceaselessly promote the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Belarus.

He welcomed the efforts of the competent agencies of both countries in promoting security cooperation, in accordance with the agreements between the two sides, the laws of each country and international law, effectively responding to traditional and non-traditional security threats, and making practical contributions to the development in each country.

The host expressed satisfaction with the positive achievements in the bilateral ties, including the opening of the direct Minsk–Phu Quoc flight on October 12 this year, and the sharp increase in trade turnover in the first nine months of the year.

A. Volfovich, for his part, reiterated that Belarus considers Viet Nam one of its important and reliable partners in the Asia–Pacific and Southeast Asian regions.

He vowed to promote areas of cooperation in which the two sides have potential and strengths.

The Belarusian State Security Council will play an active role in fostering  the implementation of the agreements reached between the high-level leaders of the two countries, helping to deepen the Viet Nam–Belarus Strategic Partnership, underlined the guest./.
